Webinar: Apple’s new security features in action
Security is an increasingly important issue for both companies and end users. Accordingly, Apple is also continuously expanding the protective functions of its operating systems. iOS 16 and macOS 13 alone bring a long list of innovations – from end-to-end encryption for iCloud to support for passkeys as a replacement for classic passwords.
Use Apple’s security features in the company
In the webinar “New security features from Apple”, the technical author and mobile device specialist Mark Zimmermann explains, among other things, how websites and apps can be secured with passkeys, what exactly the blocking mode (lockdown mode) and the extended data protection of iCloud are – and what that means in corporate use. The event is aimed at system and network administrators as well as IT managers in companies.
In addition to other new security functions, it is also about securing Apple ID and iMessage conversations and the limits of protection. The focus is on which options the company and the users offer and which pitfalls have to be considered in practical use.
